Ireland 2004

The team on the steps of parliament

We had an incredible time traveling, ministering, praying, and performing, in the north of Ireland.  We got to see many great friends who were part of the Celtic team that traveled with us to Israel 2003.  We danced at the Kings Hall on two nights of sold out performances.  We prayed at the Bangor Abby where Monks tried to sustain 24/7 worship and prayer for over 300 years.  We went to Andrew Jackson's family homestead and prayed for reconciliation and forgiveness.

Marlene, Lord Alderdice, and myself

We also meet with Irelands Parliamentary leader Lord Alderdice, gifted and honored him as a leader among his people. The parliament meeting was history making in that they passed a law the day before we arrived to allow song and dance in the parliament where it had been outlawed for their own people for many years.  Yes First Nations Believers were honored to be the first to dance in parliament in Ireland in many years.  Rather symbolic in that it was in a way an Irish president (Andrew Jackson) who signed the Indian removal act that took it away and the Irish who gave it back by waving their own law.  This came after we went and prayed for forgiveness for our long held hostility and contempt toward Andrew Jackson.
